QuickBooks 2010 Install - Records

1. Software located: \\islandstor\Files\QuickBooks2010 - Records
2. Install from Newer Version (Run as Administrator)
3. Get license info from Original Version folder

 

If its a new user, Debra Matteotti needs to add them as a user.

 

Once user logs on, select Open or restore an existing company

Go out to -  K:\North Island Credit Union Invoice\QuickbooksAutoDataRecovery\Invoice North Island Credit Union.QBW.ADR

 

Host multi-user access Note: Microsoft® Windows® administrator permissions are required to change hosting modes.

Should be done on Debra's PC

1. Open QuickBooks.

2. If you are prompted to update your company file, update your file to the new version.

3. Go to the File menu, click Utilities, and then click Host Multi-User Access.

If you see Stop Hosting Multi-User Access, you're already hosting multi-user access and can continue to the next step.

If you get the Firewall message - select Cancel (or No) and OK to close the window.

 

If it is an install of an already established user but a new PC, when QuickBooks is opened there will be a request to Register

These are the steps:

1. Go to Help
2. Open About Quickbooks
3. hit CTRL, r and p at the same time
4. Type in the validation code: 332027
5. Click Next and Finish
6. If needed, press F2 to confirm registration
