Vantage Client Install

All files have been approved thru Bit9 so this should install without having to request the level be changed to Medium.

1. Log user off and log on with elevated rights
2. Go to Add\Remove Programs and uninstall any previous version that may be installed
3. Copy from \\helpdeskstor\General\Vantage Client the New Vantage Client folder to the users local C:\Temp folder
4. Open C:\temp\New Vantage Client, right-click on  Vantage.Client.Installer and select Extract All
5. Open the Vantage.Client.Installer folder, right-click on Setup and select Run as Administrator
6. Keep all defaults except at Application Server Name: LocalHost type in Prod-Vantage
7. Before clicking Finish, uncheck box to put the icon on the desktop
8. Right-click on the folder \ select Properties
9. Security tab, click Edit \ Add \ add users name (click Check Names and OK) and give Full Control and Apply

Log off of elevated right and have user log on

 Go to C:\Program Files \ Risk & Performance Solutions \ Vantage - right click on the Vantage.exe and select Send To \ Desktop (create shortcut)

For Testing Purposes:

Windows Logon: testuser

Password: passwordtu!

Vantage: Administrator

Password: Password.1
