Keyboard - Delay of characters appearing (not Dell 7010)

Issue:

• When user types, there is a delay before the letters\numbers appear in all programs

Resolution:

1. Change the USB port
2. Change the keyboard
3. Log the user off \ log on with elevated rights

• Recreate user profile
  1. Copy anything the user may have saved on their desktop to their U drive
  2. Delete users account
  3. Regedit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
  4. Find the user in the ProfileList and delete it
  5. Log off and have user log on
  6. Set the users new profile up (Outlook, printer, etc)
