DataTrac Install

 User needs to be running Office 2010

 

 

How To Install DataTrac

Log user off

Log on using elevated account

Start \ type UAC  (Change User Account Control)

Slide to bottom to disable (Never Notify) - Click OK

DataTrac Install Path   \\dtvendorsvcs\dmdapps\DataTrac Server\ClientSetup

Right-click on Setup and select Run as Administrator

Keep all defaults

Create shortcut on Public Desktop c:\Program Files (86)\Del Mar Databae\DataTrac Client\dataTrac (not the .exe)

Have user log into the machine and test it.

Reboot and have user confirm that he/she can log in.

 

Install Docutech

Go to \\helpdeskstor\General\DocuTech folder and run DataTracImportSetup as an Admin

Once install has completed copy the DataTracImport shortcut onto the Public desktop

 

Note: Need to Create temp folder in C:\ drive, if there isn’t one on the C:\ directory (this will allow user to have more interface option under the Tools menu)
