Verifast Connection Error

Verifast Error:

Exception=VFException
Message=Server not connected error.
Additional Information=java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: 10.20.0.34; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

Resolution:

Have the User disconnect the machine usb cable from the PC before reinstalling the software

Log User off. Log on with Elevated Rights and uninstalled the Client

Have the User reconnect the machine

Go under Device Manager and browse to the driver on c:\Verifast Client

Open Verifast Client.

If it is a new PC -

1. Go to computer management and under device manager go to ports. Select PINPad device and select load driver. Go to folder location C:\Verifast Client and check include sub folders. Click ok to load driver (if shows COM# - it’s okay)
2. Run Verifast client. Terminal will initialize. Initialize process takes about 20minutes to complete.
