OSI - Remotely Setting Workstation Printing Overrides

Issues:

  • Remotely Setting Workstation Printing Overrides

See attached for detailed instructions

Resolution:

  • You can do that from any desk
    1. Log into OSI - Services\Systems\Printing Operations\Print Specs\Print Specs\Workstation Overrides
    2. In the Branch box, select the desired location. In the Workstation box, select desired workstation name
    3. Create overrides as you would if you were sitting at the workstation (TDOC\TCK2\TCK3 for Teller, CDOC\CCK2\CCK3 for FSR) TCK3 and CCK3 are for MeridianLink Loan Disbursement checks – same check stock but 3rd drawer

Should there be an issue with a printer and OSI printing needs to be redirected, instead of changing it for each individual workstation:

Go into System \ Manage \ Network Nodes \

Sort by Physical Address

To change the printer name in the path. In this example there is an issue with South Bay’s Doc1 printer, referred to as TDOC in OSI

(i.e. \\sbw2k8dc\SB-HPDOC1)

Click Edit and change the Physical Address path \\sbw2k8dc\SB-HPDOC1, to Physical Address path to SB-HPDOC2 (only changing the 1 to a 2)

Click Process

This will switch all OSI printing for the teller side to the FSR side.

In the ServiceTicket Notes, put the NODE number to make it easier to find for switching back once the printer has been fixed.

Have user log off OSI and back on for print overrides to take effect.
