Addmaster Not Printing

Ask the user how many green lights are lit on the Addmaster - there should only be 1. If they say 2, have them power off the Addmaster with the switch on the left side of the machine. (2 lights indicate the printer is in Test Mode)

Remote to workstation, go to Services and Restart the Nexus WOSA service

Click on the Recovery tab and change all three options (First, Second and Subsequent) failure(s) to Restart the Service and check the box for Enable actions for stops with errors

If after Starting\Restarting the service the Addmaster still does not print, go to System \ Workstation Options and ensure Activate Transaction Printing is checked.

If it is, have the user log out of OSI and back on – retest

If it still does not print, go to Services \ Transactions \ Teller \ Printer Status user must be logged into OSI) – click on the printer and then click OPEN (to see if OSI is communicating with the printer). If it does not Open, have user swap out the Addmaster (they should have spares in their store room) and retest. If that works, have them mark the old one as bad and interoffice it back to us.

If it does Open, have the user Restart the PC. Remote back in and retest.

 

  • After successful helping the user, please update the Addmaster - Recovery Tab Configuration list, located in the \\helpdeskstor folder with the date and workstation number so we can keep track and check back with the user
