e-Capture Xpress Installation

 (see attached for detailed instructions)

For the setup and configuration of e-Capture Xpress at North Island Credit union.

Installing e-Capture Xpress

1. From the installation files that were provide by WAUSAU located in \\helpdeskstor\General\e-CaptureXpress. Open the e-CaptureXpress_5.0.2.5 folder and run the e-CaptureXpress5.0.2.5.exe. The eCaptureXpress 5.0.2.5 Setup Wizard will open.

 

Click Next, and you will be prompted for an installation storage location. Leave the default path and click Next.

 

 

1. By Default, the correct IMS version number should appear on the drop down. Change and Check the following fields to mirror the screenshot below. Then click Next.

 

• Check “Install e-CaptureXpressMON Printer (PCL Documents) - Note* Only needed if this workstation will be printing LaserPro documents (see SnowBound below)
• Check “Install XpressLink Management”
• App Server Name: wfsappnet
• Doc Def Path: \\islandapps\apps\ecapturedefintion
• Signature Device: None (This will change when we can get your Signature pads to work. This is modifiable in the e-capturexpress.exe.config located in C:\Program Files\WFSApps\e-CaptureXpress folder.)

 

1. Update the fields and paths to mirror the screenshot below. Then click Next.

 

• DMSWebService Path: http://wfsappnet/appserver/service.asmx
• DataSource: Optima3
• Domain (for AD Auth): org
• Interface Type: Unity

 

1. Click Install and e-Capture Xpress will begin its installation. If you see a Windows Security window pop up, click Install this driver software anyway.

 

 

1. When the installation is complete. Click Finish.

 

  

Apply Hotfix

 

1. After installation is complete, browse to \\helpdeskstor\General\e-CaptureXpress and open the NICUHotfix6
2. Copy the contents and Paste them over the existing installation files located in C:\Program Files(x86)\WFSApps\e-CaptureXpress.

 

*NOTE: If you DO NOT want to overwrite your configuration files to your default, be sure to copy out the following 2 files before you paste them in the e-CaptureXpress folder. Just remember to paste them back in after you complete the copy.

• e-capturexpress.exe.config
• e-capturexpress Launcher.exe.config

 

Add SnowBound Files

 

If the workstation you are installing e-Capture Xpress will be printing from LaserPro, please remember to add these dll’s. (This is if you installed the e-CaptureXpressMON printer driver.)

 

1. Browse to \\wfsappnet\c$\Wausau_Utils\NICU_Install_Files\e-CaptureXpress and open the Snowbound Copy the contents and then paste them into \\appdata\roaming\wfsapps\e-capturexpress for each user on that workstation.

 

*Remember that these files are user based, and any user that launches e-Capture Xpress without them will receive an error looking for the files. You can however click past the error and use e-Capture Xpress effectively without it, as long as you do not need to print PCL documents from LaserPro.
