SCCM Client Uninstall \ Install
Start \ MSTSC (Remote Desktop)
Enter PC HostName and log on with your elevated profile
When prompted another user is logged on, click Yes (you should have cleared with user already)
Verify Not Installed Properly
Go to Control Panel \ Configuration Manager
General Tab: Client Certificate: None
Action Tab: Will only have 2 options
Uninstall
Start \ CMD \ run as Admin
Cd c:\windows\ccmsetup <enter>
If you have any issues uninstalling because the c drive is full, delete the ccmcache folder then retry
Go to Task Manager \ Processes or Services – once ccmsetup is gone, uninstall is complete
Verify uninstall by going to Control Panel, and Configuration Manager should be gone (may need to refresh)
Go to Computer, C:\Windows Highlight folders: ccm, ccmcache and ccmsetup – Delete (if cannot delete, complete the Uninstall and reboot. Go back in to C:\Windows and delete the folders)
Scroll to bottom and highlight any file starting with sms and ccm – delete them
Start \ Regedit \ LocalMachine\Software\Microsoft
Ccmsetup and anything that has ccm and sms – Delete them
Install
\\islandstor\Microsoft\SCCM 2012\SMS_NI1\Client
R-click on ccmsetup, run as Admin
Go to Task Manager \ Processes or Services – once ccmsetup is gone, uninstall is complete
After complete, go to Control Panel and you should see Configuration Manager
Open it and you Action tab should have several items listed.
