Issue:
- After logging on, appears to be "stuck" on the Welcome screen
Resolution:
- If a user call to say their PC is stuck on the Windows Welcome screen for a while;
-
- Ensure the user has waited at least 5 mins for updates to install
- Have user do a hard reboot
- Select Start Windows Normally
- You RDP into the workstation (this seems to break “the hold” ).
- Log off and have the user log on.
