LivePerson Update Procedure

Request Security Team put desired workstations in BIT9 Medium Level prior to starting install

Note:

• Use \\Helpdeskstor\General\LivePersonNewVersion\LPAC_WIN.exe
• Request Info Security to put PC in Medium Enforcement

1. Connect to the PC
2. Open \\Helpdeskstor\General\LivePersonNewVersion\
3. Right click “LPAC_WIN.exe” and click Run As Administrator
4. Enter your elevated rights user account
5. Go through the BIT9 prompts by clicking ‘shift’ and ‘allow’ (allow becomes promote)
6. After it is installed, launch LivePerson and let the users log in.
7. Go through the BIT9 prompts again until application is fully loaded.
8. Exit out of LivePerson and re-launch to ensure Bit9 does not block
9. Should be complete now. New version is 9.4.1.6.
