Springboard - a member of the TMG (The Members Group) software (see attached document for detailed instructions)
Procedure
HelpDesk employees must log on to Springboard using the following link.
https://Springboard.tmg.global
- Once logged on, the screen below will appear. Select Administration and Springboard as noted in the upper right of the screen below (in attached procedure).
- Once you select Springboard, your will see an Active User box below. Scroll between the pages to find the user you are looking for. The list is alphabetical. You should see that the person you are looking for is “Locked Out”. However, they may believe they have forgotten their password without locking themselves out.
- Click on the “Options” link at the right of the employee’s name. Then select “Reset Password” from the sub menu as noted below.
- You will be presented with the following screen to change the employee’s password. Enter a new temporary password of your choice, following the password requirements below, in the Enter Password field and again in the Confirm Password field. Then click on the Change Password button.
- You will see a message that the user’s password was successfully reset. Notify the employee of the new temporary password. Springboard will force a password change the first time they log in using the new temporary password. Their password will now be reset and again secured.
- The HelpDesk User Role only allows access to reset passwords and change user status for the HelpDesk team. The Springboard Activity Report can track any maintenance performed on Springboard including password resets. Consumer Lending will review the activity report to insure that the HelpDesk employees are only resetting passwords and not changing user roles as changing user rolls includes the same user maintenance authority as a password reset.
FYI – From Springboard Website:
The website URL for Springboard has been updated to better reflect TMG's brand. Although both the old and new URL will remain active for the next 90 days, effective November 1, 2016, the old URL will be turned off.
Springboard
- Old URL: https://Springboard.themembersgroup.com
- New URL: https://Springboard.tmg.global
- Next Steps:
- We recommend you start updating computer bookmarks to the new Springboard URL. Please share this information with others at your organization.
- In early October, a message will be placed on the website reminding users to update bookmarks to the new URL and that the old URL will be turned off on November 1.
- On November 1, Springboard.themembersgroup.com will become inactive. Users navigating to this URL will see a "website no longer active" notice, along with a link to the correct, new URL.
