Outlook - Email Signature

 

Issue:

  • My signature is not on emails I send to forward\reply to

Resolution:

  • If you previously had a signature
    1. Go into your Sent items
    2. Open an older email that has your signature on it
    3. Highlight the signature, right-click and select Copy
    4. Open a new email
    5. From the ribbon, in the Include section, click on the Signature button and select Signatures
    6. Click on the New button and give this signature a name
    7. Right-click in the large box on the bottom section (edit signature) and select Paste (your copied signature will appear). You may make any font and\or color changes here.
    8. Click on the Save button.
    9. Under the Choose default signature section: New Message and Replies/forwards, click the drop-down arrow and select your desired signature.

 

  • If you are creating your first signature (if someone has sent you an email and their signarue has what you need, you can use the above steps, replacing their information with yours)
    1. Open a new email
    2. From the ribbon, in the Include section, click on the Signature button and select Signatures
    3. Click on the New button and give this signature a name
    4. Click in the large box on the bottom section (edit signature) and type in the desired information. You may make any font and\or color changes here.
    5. Click on the Save button.
    6. Under the Choose default signature section: New Message and Replies/forwards, click the drop-down arrow and select your desired signature.
