Thumbnail Previews are not Displaying when I Hover Over the Taskbar Icon of an Opened or Minimized Windows

Issue:

When I place the cursor over the icon of an active appliction it shows only text. I would like it to show the desktop screen

Resolution:

This is call Aero Peek

Right-click on the desktop, select Personlize

From the Themes select on of the Aero Themes (there are 7 to choose from)

Check the active window icons for thumbnail display

You can change your desktop back to desired personalized setting you had previously
