Prologue - Install\Update and Printer Configuration

Prologue 9.15 Client Instructions

Uninstall the existing Fiserv Prologue 9.0 client

Be sure to first install sql 2008 native client by copying it to the c:\temp from \\prologue2\download\client\qlncli_x64 (DO NOT UNINSTALL THE sql 2012)

Open IE and Navigate to : http://prologue2:5900/download/prologue.client.install.msi

Click Run

Click Next – If it is a new install, you may need to create the C:\Program Files (x86)\Fiserv\Prologue\ folder

Click next

 

Click Install

Click Close

Note: When first launched, the program it will error out –update the prologue server address to http://prologue2:5900 instead of http://localhost:5900. Hit Tab and it should look like this:

 

 

 

ProloguePDF printer configuration

1. Go to Devices and Printers
2. Right click the ProloguePDF printer and click Printer Properties
3. Click the Security tab
4. Select EVERYONE and ensure “Manage this printer” and “Manage documents” are checked
5. Click the Ports tab and ensure the “ProloguePDF” printer is using “NULL” as the port

 

1. After you make these changes, reboot the PC and test.
