Nexpose - Scan System for Updates After Imaging

Use Windows logon  (only one person at a time can scan - if someone else is scanning is will show in Post Imaging "in Progress")

Click Scan Now (is not showing, click on Manage Site and select Post Image, then click on Scan Now)

Bottom Box, choose "Specifiy one or more assets within this site to scan"

Type the deired IP(s)

Click Start Now

 

After scan has completed, click on the Computer Name to view needed updates

Only worry about the MS updates - The link to the update will be in be in the listed needed updates

 

 

Install all needed updates and then rescan

 

If the scan hangs, contact Jason, Cheryl, Tod or Patrick to reboot the server (Server Name: Nexpose)

 

Once done will display Completed All updates installed

 

Assets will display scanned

Select Delete Asset if all updates have been installed.
