Converting .csv Files to Excel

Issue:

At present, it has to be opened in Excel.  The CSV file is of no use to me.

Open Excel, click Data, and from Text.  Then, grab the file.  Click Delimited, then Comma, then Finish, then Okay.

At that point there is a popup saying that the file is so big that only a portion of it can be saved, and to use the wizard to enable saving the rest.  Trouble is, I do not know how to access this wizard.

So, I saved what Excel would allow, but it’s only about 1/3^rd of the content in the file.

Resolution:

It appears Notepad is the default on the machine for .csv files.

Right-click on the file, select to open with Excel.

Click on Start \ type in File Association and make Excel the default for .cvs files.
